Our Vision
Through God's Spirit and anointing, the team at Isaiah 61 Café preaches the Good News to the poor, to bind the brokenhearted, to free captives and release prisoners from the darkness of addictions and strongholds.

We proclaim the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance. We comfort all who mourn and grieve by replacing shame with a crown of beauty, replacing mourning with joy and replacing despair with praise. Our friends become oaks of righteousness, stable and displaying God's splendor. They rebuild their families and in turn revive the Lakes Region, so future generations are built on the rock of Jesus Christ.
Our Mission
Isaiah 61 Café is a nonprofit organization (IRS approved 501c3) providing a place for the less fortunate and brokenhearted in Laconia to have access to bathroom facilities, showers, lockers, washer and dryers on a daily basis. We provide food, clothing and supplies from donations, as well as purchased items. We provide daily Bible studies and training for the development of life, parenting and job skills. As needed, we provide transportation, and work as advocates with social services and state assistance. We also provide worship in music and message to inspire the less fortunate and brokenhearted to find hope, healing and purpose in life.

April 2021 Announcement: I-61 Expansion Plan

Dawn and Dave Longval have recently purchased the adjacent building, previously known as Pitman's Freight Room. Through expanding the cafe, the older building will serve as cold weather shelter during New Hampshire's frigid winter months, and during other times of the year will serve as transition homes for those who have overcome their addictions.
